    How true is this perceptive poem! And how many of us have experienced this! And how pleasing a lesson this was! Jazaakumullaahu khair dear Shaykh!

    I was also very glad to know about the ‘missing’ tanwiin on qaleel, and that this is for reasons of prosody. I had wrongly thought that poetry had its own grammar rules, because of things like this. What a relief to know that Inshaa Allaah, I can now enjoy studying poetry knowing I don’t have to learn a parallel set of rules and that these changes are for enhancing the beauty and flow of the poem!
