    as-salamu ‘alykum brother,

I hope all is well with you. I am a physician who has been studying Arabic for the past 15 years. My first course was the Madinah Series and I tremendously benefited from it. I am in the process of developing a brief daily rapid course — for Muslims who are too busy to learn Arabic . I am interested in getting Dr. Abdur Rahims input. Is it possible for you to email me his number. I would really appreciate it. JazakumuAllah Khair.

  3. Ahmad says:

    Eselamu alejkum
i have a question regarding the إن و من الشرطان
If i want to say من يعمل في شركتي و لا يفعل ما أمر فقد رسب.
Now the second verb يفعل should it also be مجزوم becuse i negated the second verb not the first from man so can i say like this or do i have to say i a diffrent way for example i want to say if you work and dont sleep early then you will succeed now is it the same for all the shart particles to make negativ the second verb witch is matoof?

      مَنْ يعملْ في شركتي ولمْ يفعلْ ما آمُرُهُ بِهِ فَسَيَرْسُبُ.

      مِنْ يعملْ ولمْ ينمْ مبكراً فلنْ ينجحَ في العملِ.

Yes, the second verb is مجزوم because it is معطوف on the فعل الشرط الأول.

أرجو أن يكون واضحا إن شاء الله.

  5. Sanni Wahab Olanrewaju says:

Assalam Alaykum Warahmatullah Wabarakatuh. I hope this message finds you well. I need an assistance from you. Alhamdullilah, I am a graduate of medinah book and I have revised it over again for a number of times now. However, whenever I listen to someone speaking Arabic, I find it difficult to comprehend, and I think this is because I am not living in an Arab vicinity. So, I was thinking if you can link me up with someone who is proficient in Arabic so that I can be conversing with such person and I can become better with my Arabic.

    Jazakumullahu Khayran

We advise the following to improve your Arabic, and specifically to develop listening and speaking skills.

This advice is for the one who has completed the 3 Madinah Books and thus learnt grammar and Sarf:

      1) Listen to Qur’aanic recitation. Then – if possible – memorise سورة البقرة.

      2) Then listen to aHaadiith lectures by scholars. Memorise some aHaadiith if possible.

      3) Then listen to short Arabic lectures by the scholars.

      4) Then join Arabic classes to practise speaking Arabic.

Our section about speaking Arabic may also be helpful.

      I hope this is helpful.
