Jazaakumullaahu khair dear Shaykh, for using this beautiful and awesome du’aa as the subject of your lesson. For students like me, who are not yet able or confident to study supplications from the Sunnah in Arabic only, your lesson was a real treat. Not only do we learn more fascinating grammar, but also increase in our knowledge of the Sunnah and inshaa Allaah, the desire to adhere to it. Jazaakumullaahu khair our dear Shaykh, for these multiple benefits.

I found the lexical and grammatical detail to be excellent, maa shaa Allaah, and also really liked your translation of the supplication. And the line-by-line layout made it more easy for me to study and memorise it.

    A very enjoyable lesson!

    Wassalaamu alaykum

    In Hadith Lesson 1,
    1) is the min in ‘wa min al-amali ma tarda’ MIN ZAA’IDA? It seems like it can easily be removed.

    2) it said that the hadha in ‘fii safarana hadha’ is na’t. Can you please clarify this, as I though the hadha is mubdal minhu, but delayed because of idaafa. or does it become na’t once it’s delayed?

    Asalamo aleikom

There is a word by word translation of The Quran online which I feel I have greatly benefitted from. When I search for something similar but for dua or 40 hadith I cannot find it. It saves a lot of time to memorize and learn the words at the same time. This just as an idea for a new project.

I have greatly benefitted from the works available on this site.

    Jazak Allaho khayran.
